A pair of Vallauris table lamps
Vallauris is a city on the French Riviera blessed with large clay deposits in dem hills. For centuries potters from the area have been making practical glazed pots and vessels for the kitchen. Then old mate Picasso rocks up in in the late 40’s and shit got weird. These 50’/60’s lamps feature the recognisable green glaze usually seen on ‘woven’ bowls and rarely on lighting.
A pair of 1950/60 Vallauris lamps freshly rewired with one small chip in the glaze.
$780 for the pair including shipping from France 🇫🇷
